Costa Rica - Beautiful Beaches on the Pacific

We were fortunate to be able to spend time in the Pacific and the Atlantic in the same vacation, impossible to do in many countries. We have always spent time in the Pacific, we decided to try to the Atlantic this time, both have their pros and cons.


Playa Bejuco, Costa Rica (Pacific side, south of Jaco, before Quepos). Pros: Wonderful black sand that goes on for miles through the coast and towards the Ocean in low tide. Quiet and peaceful. Great rates. Only 2 hrs from San Jose. Great for seeing Iguanas and Monkeys. Cons: not much, the raods as always.
