Papa suggested we go see what they had done with Crystal Cove Beach. This area was taken away from their tenants about 1 year ago because the lease on the land expired. It is now a Beach State Park. Jeff used to go there with his Dad all the time when he was a little kid. He says they have done a good job preserving the 1920's look. The old cottages by the beach are being renovated and they will be museums. The cottages on top of the cliff are now part of the bungalows you can rent per night. Prices are not bad $165 to $185 for 6-8 people but apparently the wait is long. Enjoy our beautiful Southern California Beaches.
