Dyadya Sergei, our great friend from Nizhny Novgorod is here for business and pleasure. Kristina has a very good recollection of him in Nizhny, staying at his place right after we picked her up was very memorable for her and she absolutely adores him. He is also very gentle with her. When he asks what Kristina wants from Russia, the response is always "chocolad". She tells me that Russian chocolate "it is so yummy Mama". Usually he stays with us for the time he is here but this trip he will go to Wyoming to visit 'his American parents" for a few days and then returning to us for the remaining of the trip. Kristina has been asking him to take her ice skating, hopefully we can do that next weeks when he is back. She practices, without skates, her dance moves to show her that she could do it. She has been watching the movie Ice Princess and that has inspired her. She is definetely a natural. Her posture, her moves, her rythm, it is definetely in her genes.
