August 4th 2006 was a long day. Court was done and over we had been granted custody of Kristina but because Vyksa is so far away from Nizhniy and there was another couple ahead of us we had to wait until the driver was available on Saturday. So Friday we waited and waited for Saturday to come. Entertained ourselves, walked to the Kremlin from our friends place by the enbankment along the Volga river. We even had lunch there, we got very good at ordering food on our own. Saw several weddings taking place at the Kremlin, a tradition for what we hear. Then Seryozha took us to a traditional Russian restaurant to meet several of his buddies. We had a blast in this special room downstairs, the picture with the peacock was a must! By then the day was over and tomorrow we would rise early for the drive to Vyksa to join Kristina.
