Kristina had a blast at Jenna's birthday. This time it was all girls. They got a facial, got nails painted, danced, had a piñata, etc. Jenna was very proud to have her cousin "from Russia" there. Jenna is such a sweet girl. She adores her cousin Kristina and is always helping her and watching after her.
Babushka said that at the beginning the girls wanted to make Kristina last on things but she always ended up being first. That is the little winner we have in our hands. I think girls in the 8 year old range are more critical and less forgiving, or may be is their upbringing, may be it is an "OC" thing. A group of girls decided they would sit in the couch and criticize Kristina, not even 10 minutes after we got to the party. Luckily she has a Babushka that loves her very much and will not put up with that stuff; immediately Grandma told the girls that there was nothing for them to discuss; that that was not nice, and she will not allow them to do that. YOU GO Babushka! I guess they detected an accent and wanted to pick on that. It tore my heart apart to live her there for the party but knowing Babushka would do whatever she had to do to protect her and knowing that Jenna and Christa love her and are not like that we let her stay and enjoy her fun. I was glad to hear when I picked her up that Kristina could also defend for herself and make her to first in line if she wanted to be first.
